Wheeler House is an historic landmark property with family history that can be traced back more than 200 years, although the property is not heritage listed. Originally part of the estate of Allan Wheeler, a descendent of English convict George Wheeler who was transported to NSW in 1816 and after whom the suburb is named. The property occupies a generous 1,650 sqm with approved plans to further capitalise on the already stunning views over Narrabeen Lagoon & Garigal National Park.
A modernist masterpiece, the single level 300sqm residence was originally conceived in the late 1950's but in recent years has been given new life by restoration of the exterior stonework.
