We moved to Canungra from the Gold Coast 18 months ago and It was the best decision we ever made. We love the peace and quiet and the clean air. Plans for this town include a new shopping centre and better water supply, although we have good rainfall anyway. Overall a "nice place to live" or "visit" that is not far from Gold Coast, Brisbane.
"Canungra - Gateway to Lamington National Park"
Canungra is a short drive west of the Gold Coast in the hinterland. The town has a long history associated with the timber industry. Today, the town offers some great attractions such as a winery where you can sample good wines before making your selection, some good shops for your every need and of course a hotel for thirsty locals and travellers.
